Snow Cones, Recipe How-To : Tamra Davis Cooking Show

A huge snow storm blew through New York and the school called a “snow day”. Of course I had a billion things planned that day that didn’t include two little boys so we came up with a new plan and the boys came up with an idea to make Snow Cones.  Enjoy this treat now that the summer weather is coming to NYC!

Recipe:

 

Snow Cones

 

1 large bowl of fresh snow

1 cup of Juice

(pure maple syrup alternate version)

 

Pour 1 cup of juice into a sauce pan. Simmer until it reduces to 1/4 cup. Refrigerate

Scoop snow into a cup or bowl. Drizzle juice syrup or maple syrup on top. Enjoy.
