You have not lived, you have not even started to breathe until you've had Roasted Marshmallow ice cream from Greg's Ice Cream in Toronto Canada. Seriously. If you have ever held a marshmallow over a campfire, you must try this ice cream.

I believe the issue was that the creme anglaise couldn't heat up enough to nappe in NYC's 30 degree weather. It was a cooking issue, not a spinning issue. They may not be chefs but they make some damn delicious ice cream and have shown success in their techniques!

i know that you take pride in not being a chef but sometimes you should consult a chef for the sake of your viewers. custard has to age for 12 to 24 hours so that the ice cream can be really smooth. no matter how cold it is outside if you pour the hot custard in the machine you are using it will not freeze.

I love a fresh Vanilla but most interesting I've had is avocado! I still don't have the guts to try the garlic ice cream that a farm here in California makes for the annual garlic festival.
