Best waffle topping ever: a little melted butter brushed on, a dollop of your favorite jam, jelly or preserves (Trappist seedless raspberry for me) and a dollop of sour cream. No kidding, you must try it.

I love making the waffle with a thick layer of sharp cheese cheese melted and caramelized right into the top. Best. Thing. EVER.

Sauteed apples and pears with spice on top of a flavored cream cheese. Yum, jazz it up with caramel and you've got a tasty treat :)

I like homemade jam and whipped cream with bananas, or peanut butter and bananas. Bananas are the best! I also make a peanut butter sandwich with waffles when I am on the go. Its delicious!

Love you Dan and crew!! Favorite waffle topping,, Cinnamon waffle, peanut butter and honey (orange blossom honey) with thin granny smith apple slices, or banana slices. When I am feeling really bad.. marshmallow fluff... If you have never had a "fluffer nutter" sandy... you must try it!

I go traditional New England - butter and pure maple syrup! Thanks for enlightening us on the different types of waffles. I had never heard about the denser, doughier one. Can't wait to try.

Every time I go to belgium I pretty much either get a brussel's waffle topped with strawberries and icing sugar or a liege waffle topped with the Australian's(=ice cream shop) spekuloos ice cream, banana slices and melted chocolate. GOD THAT MADE ME HUNGRY !!!

the only way i eat my waffles is with ice cream. I make fresh waffles whenever my friends come over or when we play dnd. you take two waffles put a scoop of your favorite ice cream on one waffle and it starts to slightly melt from the heat of the hot waffle. you then put whatever toppings you like on your ice cream and place the other waffle on top and enjoy.

why no mention of spekuloos????

My favorite waffle topping is chopped fresh ripe mango, whipped cream (just a bit of vanilla, unsweetened), and topped with some toasted slivered almonds. Mmmm.

It isn't a topping so much as what my Nana put in her waffles. She always put bacon in her waffles. They were so good with just a little bit of syrup.

I love carmelized apples and whipped cream sprinkled with sliced almonds on my waffles....yummm. But my waffles don't look as half as good as Wafles & Dinges--I have to find this truck!!!!! P.S. what kind of dinges is spekulees?

i love to put jam and little crumbly bits of old cheddar on them, but then again, i love just about anything on waffles... except meat D:

At home I keep it simple with real maple syrup on my waffles, though I like to mess with the batter (wheat, banana, nuts, whatever I have on hand). But at the Wafels & Dinges truck, I always go for the Liege wafel with Nutella (sometimes with banana too). After watching this, I'm sad that I've moved 2000 miles from the truck!

i sandwich my waffles with crispy bacon and dip in lots of butter and REAL maple syrup (grade B from vermont please!). mmmmm. i'm hungry.

my favorite topping is vanilla ice cream, topped with hot fudge and whipped cream! Yummy!

i have to say my favorite is cherries and crumbled up bacon its the combination of sweet and salty with the crispness of the waffle that just wins my heart

My favorite topping has to be warm cherries, chocolate sauce and a ton of whipped cream (read: whipped not from an aerosol can.) Cause thats how I first ate one. I was about 7 and my dad took me to Utrecht. We went to a café. I was feeling very brave, so I decided I could eat a whole waffle. I got half way through when I admitted defeat and handed it over to my dad.

I love strawberries on my waffles. I just had waffles and strawberries this morning! I saved some batter for tomorrow morning, too.
