George's Sandwiches

Since I started VendrTV, Philadelphia-based food writer Holly Moore has been an inspiration. His website, HollyEats.com, is jam packed with diners, roadside shacks, and bbq joints all across America. In fact, many of our favorite episodes are directly inspired by his findings. So it was only natural that he joined me on an episode in his hometown.

The two of us visited George's Sandwiches, a small window that faces out onto the Italian Market, as it has for years. And they do all the Philly classics like Cheesesteaks, Roast Pork, and Hoagies. Delicious!
