Market Salad

so this my first time watching working class foodies, and i am in love! as an aspiring chef, this show rocks!! keep it up. The salad looks amazing by the way.

I USED to be a big fan of Salad Nicoise--when you started off w/ the fingerling potatoes and green beans, I thought you were going in that direction -- but your final result was SOOO original, much more interesting, and incredibly CREATIVE! Also, this was a GREAT and inspiring demonstration of how to spontaneiously combine diverse fresh market items. Bravo! Thanks ... and bon appetit!

This looks freaking awesome. I wish I had the time to go to the market, but that's hard to manage with two jobs. I will definately try what i can next time I go to the market but it might have to wait until next summer. Right now all i'll find that's affordable is gourd and root type veggies. (live in canada)

I defiantly want to try this! For the salad dressing I do something like that too but I add a little bit of gravy powder, I don't know what it does but the dressing never tastes the same without it. oh and I WANT THE DUCK BREAD~!!!!!

Oh, that duck fat garlic bread! I wonder if some shaved parmesan would taste good with the peppery arugula, and also some red peppers with tomatoes roasted in olive oil and drizzled with a little balsamic vinegar.? You've made me very hungry! Another beautiful episode, guys!

have you tried arugula, roasted redpepper and a thin slice of sweet onion on crusty fresh bread with a generous spread of good butter--a salad sandwich. arugula rocks!
