You just made me so hungry!  I've been dying to make my own sausage for a while now, and I think you just gave me the final nudge to do it.  Great video.

We enjoyed the bratwursts that Theo Peck made at the Hollenback Community Garden party. They were the best I've ever had and it was so cool to see how they were made. I'm eager to check out your site again. Thanks for a great show.

Your show is great and i cant wait to attempt some of your recipes at home. most of it is probably done in editing but i do really know what kind of camera and if you guys a use a UV filter what kind? not really a food question but the shows not just fun to watch and its Visually nice too haha. keep it up you guys rock :]

Ahh you just can't eat them with buns :D Germans use to eat them with "Salzkartoffeln" =boiled potatoes but the Sauerkraut was right, then you mash up the Sauerkraut with the potatoes and slice the Bratwurst and mix it :D

I'm from Germany so i kow how to eat these right :D

Does pricking the wursts prevent them from splitting open? How can you tell that they're done? I've always grilled wursts till they split open, but they lost juices and the texture was dry.

i just made brats from scratch last week!!! it was amazingly empowering and so much easier than i thought it would be. if you don't have a meat grinder, have your local butcher grind the pork for you. and if you don't have one of those fancy sausage filler machines you can use the top of a bottle as a funnel. it worked sooo well. i'll send ya'll a picture. thanks for the awesome show. you rock it.
