Simple No-Bake Holiday Dessert Recipe: Thanksgiving Beeramisu

Made this on several occasions, each time it was a hit. Used pumpkin beer on Thanksgiving, Sam Adam's Winter Lager for New Years, and I want to try it with their summer ale, but not sure how a lighter beer would go with the sweetness.

the raw eggs scare me though, is it ok to ommit those?

Ah and about the alcohol -->Nila, just put the ladyfingers in some espresso coffee!

You can do Berrymisu too..makes it lighter, adds a sour touch. Just add some berries between every layer (best are frozen berries, heated in some whater and sugar. Let cool out before use!)

That looks sooo tasty. 
My grandmother always makes this salad/desert as a sweet blance to all the savoury things:
Fruit Fluff
1 tub cool whip (or make your own equivalent)
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 packet orange pineapple jello mix
1 can of well drained mandarins
Mix the yogurt and jello package together, then lightly fold into the cool whip. Add your mandarins (be gentle to not break them, excess liquid is disastrous). 
Voila! A fluffy sweet 10 minute no bake recipe that can be made while your potatoes are boiling.

Wow, beeramisu! Love the name, and it looks fab, especially in those glass cups (martini glasses?). I've been experimenting with beer lately : stout and chocolate ice cream, scotch ale and praline ice cream... this beeramisu is next on my list! 

For a non-alcoholic version, I agree it would be awesome with chai tea instead of beer, or maybe even with hot chocolate milk? 

Have you tried to make the beeramisu in a springform cake pan? Would it hold it's shape once unmold?

can you guys put a non 21 year old alteration to your recipes somewhere? im only 13 and i love your show...just not all the alchohol! (i know i spelled that wrong)

I've just found this site and I'm in love. Anybody that can pair beer with ladyfingers has got my vote. I would love to see a segment on spirits related cooking for the holidays. My mom makes a great Compari marinated plums with sweet brandy cream.
