Savory & Sweet Chocolate Recipes for Valentine's Day

What is the chocolate candy in the middle, the brand? I'm only finding chocolate hershey's kisses haha

I made the chocolate pasta for a special anniversary dinner. My fiance was a little skeptical and isn't a huge chocolate fan. We used an 85% cocoa bar grated on top. It was A-mazing! We will definitely add this to the menu for dinner with friends!

The spaghetti is definitely unusual, but looks great! And Francine seemed so sincere and knowledgeable. 
To go on a sweet path, you two should check out Semla, a traditional swedish dessert served around Fat Tuesday. Since that was only a few days ago, I saw it popping up on blogs and it looks really simple and yummy. It would be awesome if you made that on an episode.

do you think that the pasta can be served without the shaved chocolate?

I made the chocolate pasta for valentines day and it was perfect! The chocolate was really expensive though...any suggestions for chocolate brands the next time i make this??

I'm italian... you must put pasta cooking only when water is boiling... not before...

The onion and shaved chocolate along with the parmesan was a revelation. Amazing.

Great episode. Lava cakes are a great way idea. 

The chocolate caviar spaghetti reminded me of molé poblano sauce (which I love). 

My favourite romantic dishes: baked macaroni & cheese and flour-less chocolate torte with raspberries and chocolate mousse. Simple, delicious & lovely.

My partner and I don't generally celebrate Valentine's day, but we have had our share of romantic homemade meals. One thing I love for dessert is chocolate fondue with fresh fruit. It's simple and fairly customizable (I've yet to try white chocolate fondue!). For the main meal I think a creamy pasta is always great for a romantic mood. There's a dish I've wanted to recreate for a while that I had at a restaurant that was a penne with truffle oil, Asiago cheese, and several kinds of mushrooms.

But chocolate everything doesn't sound bad!

I think this all looks delicious, and I want to give this dish a shot, but my partner doesn't like onions :/  Any suggestions on how I can rework the sauce?
