Knife Skills & How To Make a Chicken Tagine (Casserole)

I'm a former pro cook and I learned from Chef Brendan too. Especially the chicken, we used to just get pieces not whole chickens. I've developed some bad habits and forgotten an awful lot. I want to go cook something! Bravo!

Hey! This was one of the best episodes yet! I really learned a lot. I am a vegetarian, but I can't believe I never knew what a chicken really looked like. Maybe I will experiment with it one day! (Probably not...I'll experiment with tofu.)

Muchas gracias! This is exactly what I needed. I'm going to buy 23 chickens directly from a farmer this weekend (no birds at my farmers market and it's a 2 hr drive, so I'm stocking up. These babies are pastuered and we're getting them for .50 a pound. How rad is that?) and I had no idea how to properly cut a a whole chicken. Fabulous!

Got my first cooking job because of my knife skills... important skills to have!   The dish looked super delicious, wish we had smell-o-vision technology.

I had never even heard of a tagine before. Seems like it would work kind of like a dutch oven.

Mental note: Do not watch this show until after dinner. So. Hungry. Need to sharpen, or just replace all of our crappy knives. Thanks for posting. Basic skills are needed in this house!
