Peanut Butter Oat Bar: Healthy Summer Snack Recipe

It's basically a flavor thing: olive oils have a range of flavors from grassy to peppery to citrus-y, and thus, are not neutral. Walnut oil tastes strongly like walnuts; it's not neutral, either. Grapeseed, vegetable, and canola oil have no discernable flavor and are therefore neutral.

I don't know the accuracy of this, but I added up the calories for the amounts of everything we added and divided it by 16 (the number of bars made in my most recent batch). The calorie count came out to around 150-160 calories per bar using this recipe. This is based on the calorie count for store-bought reduced-fat peanut butter, which is approximate to my peanut butter recipe. If using whole-fat peanut butter, the calorie count per bar comes up to about 200. Still not bad!

adding an extra yolk in flan makes it extra creamy or  if you have no problem with the extra fat just add it to a two egg omelet or if you have 6 or so you can make creme brule´.  you can add it to WCF bread pudding recipe. some cookie recipies call for extra yolks.  the possibilities are endless.
                               flan:
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 can sweetend condensed milk
     dash of vanilla or vanilla bean
     4 eggs or 3 eggs + 2 yolks

buzz it in the blender pour into a prepared mold (coated with caramel or cajeta) bake in a water bath at 350 until set anywhere between 60 and 90 minutes. serve super cold.
