Meat & Beer: The Sixpoint Signal & Meatopia

I'm from Chicago, and 3 Floyds from Munster, IN is absolutely awesome, with a great story. Plus, every year they celebrate "Dark Lord Day," a huge beer festival and the only day each year that they sell a special Russian Imperial stout. It was my first year going and we made so many friends who were there just to celebrate beer and share their favorite microbrews with strangers.

bloomington, IN has a local brewery that produces the worlds most outstanding summer blonde ale of all time--lennie's on 10th st. if you ever make it to bloomington in the summer, get a growler, you won't be disappointed!

Here in Minneapolis there are numberous good local beers, but I've been enjoying the Brau Brothers Brewary lately. Just had the last of some Elisha's Old Ale. Yum. We homebrew too! I've been kicking back in the heat with a cold bottle of my newest experiment: a rose flavored IPA.

near one of the farmers markets in calgary, alberta, there's a microbrewery called wild rose - they make the best "wraspberry" ale with real raspberries brewed right into the beer! so good! and their brown ale tastes like it has dark chocolate in it. :)

Great episode, Meatopia must have been fun and filling! Whenever I'm back in my hometown, Albuquerque, I stop by Marble Brewery and have a pint of Wildflower Wheat! Alex likes the Oatmeal Stout. Ah, nothing bettr than a really good beer on a summer day.
